Federal announced that the Xplora MTS is going to be “revolutionary.” The tire is designed to be a hybrid between a mud terrain tire and an ultra-high-performance tire and is perfectly designed for the urban truck enthusiast in mind.

The New Federal Xplora MTS features:

- Massive tread blocks to enhance traction and stability

- New Silica compound- not a UHP compound and not a M/T compound
The Federal Xplora MTS has the off-road look while still being able to stick to the pavement for increased traction, and long wear compared to a tire mud tire. Awards Won
The Federal Xplora MTS received the Good Design Award for 2018 for industrial design. It also received an award from Red Dot, the international product design awarded by the design Zenturnm Nordrhein Westfalen in Essen, Germany.
The Federal Xplora MTS will be available in 20-inch, 22-inch and 24-inch rims by early Spring (March or April) 2019. Additional sizes from 17 inch to 26 inch are scheduled to be available by late Spring 2020.
