Firestone CHAMPION SPADE GRIP R2 Style Description
The Firestone Champion Spade Grip R2 tire is a highly engineered premium tractor tire designed for deep wet soil conditions like sugar cane fields and rice paddies.
The extra-deep 45° tread delivers better traction in really soupy mud and deep water. Excellent rice field tire and sugar cane tire because of the curved tread bars which promote self cleaning of the mud from between the blocks. The nose of the tread bars are bolstered, with the rest of the tread bar buttressed with tie bars for long wear. Even the rubber compounds are designed for this special application, with a super flexible rubber on the sidewalls to resist weather cracking which happens on specialty equipment when the tire sits for long periods of time between harvests.
