The Michelin Latitude Sport tire is a reinforced sporty summer tire developed and designed to deliver exceptional dry and wet road traction, handling and cornering for high performance Crossover and Sport Utility Vehicles ( such as Audi Q7, Porsche Cayenne and VW Touareg). This tire is structured with two high-tensile, steel cord belts improved by aramid/nylon hybrid filaments to provide enhanced ride quality and durability even at high speed while it resist the tire distortion. Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 Max Performance Summer tires and Latitude Sport tires shares the asymmetric tread pattern and dual tread compounds for passenger cars. Along with its hybrid silica/carbon black compound that improved dry traction and high-silica compound to enhanced wet traction, Its Large outboard shoulder blocks and center ribs helps to improve steering response and stability especially while cornering. As with all summer tires, it is not designed to be driven in snow, ice or near freezing temperatures.

FAQs
The Michelin Latitude Sport incorporates specific noise-reduction patterns within its on-road tread design. These features are engineered to minimize road noise, allowing the tire to deliver a surprisingly composed and comfortable highway ride, despite its inherent aggressive all-terrain capabilities.
The Michelin Latitude Sport is engineered for trucks and SUVs that navigate both highways and trails, making it ideal for drivers who require confident off-road traction without sacrificing comfort on pavement. It's best suited for weekend adventurers, outdoor workers, overland drivers, off-road SUVs, lifted crossovers, and light-duty trail use.
The deep tread blocks and wide voids of the Michelin Latitude Sport are specifically designed to grip effectively in loose dirt, gravel, and mud. For enhanced durability and consistent performance, stone ejectors are integrated between the lugs to prevent debris retention, self-clean the tread, and help protect against damage on challenging terrains.
The reinforced sidewall construction of the Michelin Latitude Sport significantly enhances durability and provides confidence, particularly when the vehicle is under heavy load or engaged in towing. This design specifically protects the tire against cuts and impacts, ensuring robust performance in demanding conditions.
