The Michelin Latitude Sport 3 ZP tire is a sporty summer performance tire with exceptional dry and wet road traction, handling and cornering for high performance Crossover and Sport Utility Vehicles ( such as Audi Q7, Porsche Cayenne and VW Touareg). The ZP in the name means these sizes are "Zero Pressure" tires, which means a spare tire is not needed because the thicker sidewalls allows you to drive on the tire for up to 50 miles (70 kms) in the event of a puncture and complete loss of air pressure. Along with its hybrid silica/carbon black compound that improves dry traction and high-silica compound for enhanced wet traction, this tire features large outboard shoulder blocks and center ribs help to improve steering response and stability especially while cornering. As with all summer tires, it is not designed to be driven in snow, ice or near freezing temperatures.
