Pilot Alpin 5 SUV ZP is a winter run-flat tire made for performance light trucks, SUV's, & crossovers. In case of puncture, Alpin 5 SUV ZP lasts another 50 miles at 50mph speed. Its directional tread pattern is highly siped and features broad shoulder blocks with a wide central groove to blend stability with hydroplaning resistance, plus the traction in typical winter conditions of slush, snow, and ice. Specialized undertread serves as a fuel efficiency mechanism as it reduces rolling resistance, while the two-ply, polyester casing improves sidewall's durability. This Michelin SUV tire has two high-strength steel belts supporting the tread that are reinforced by a polyamide cap to aid in handling responsiveness and offering high-speed durability. Alpin 5 SUV ZP has a 3-peak mountain snowflake (3PMSF) symbol and meets all the requirements of a snow tire.
