The Nitto Dura Grappler tire is a highway all-terrain tire that has long-wear life, a quiet and comfortable ride but with plenty of traction for the occasional off-road adventure. It has a heavy duty carcass for extra loads and commercial applications. It is commonly used on SUVs and pick up trucks that rarely go off-road. All the LT sizes have 10 ply sidewalls ("E" load range) with a durable tread rubber molded into a 4-rib design. The p-metric sizes for SUVs has a different rubber and a slightly quieter 5-rib tread design.

With the Dura Grappler tire, like several other Nitto tires, you get two styling options with every tire thanks to the dual sidewall design - one side has plain side-lugs and the other side has attention grabbing "shark fin" shaped lugs.
