The Nitto NT420S tire is a sport performance tire designed to deliver extreme cornering grip, responsive dry handling, as well as traction on wet roads. This tire has an inner shoulder that helps to channel away water on wet roads, while the outer shoulder is more solid for dry traction. This type of asymmetric design ensures the maximum amount of rubber on the road on the outside when you need it most during hard cornering. The tire also has a non-directional tread pattern, which allows rotation from side-to-side and front to back. This flexibility allows for longer, more even wear across the tread since rotations can be easily done. (Remember to rotate your tires every 3 to 5,000 miles!). Even wear has the added benefit of quieter ride, so to get the most out of your Nitto tires, frequent rotation and air pressure checks are recommended.
