Nitto NT555 G2

The new Nitto NT555 G2 tire is the next generation of ultra high performance summer tire designed for those who love to push the limits of their sports car. It features large tread blocks that are super rigid to not deform under high torque. There are twin center ribs for increased dry traction & straight-line stability. The shoulder blocks are tapered with a profile that allows for progressive and predicable break-away at the limits. Circumferential grooves in the center and wide open lateral grooves on the shoulder aid water evacuation and wet handling.

The tread compound has a high percentage of silica which is a special bonding agent that strengthens the bonds for higher compound rigidity during cornering, resulting in better handling capabilities in both wet and dry, and most importantly longer tread-life.
