The Kelly Edge Touring Plus is an all-season touring tire for sedans, coupes, minivans, and crossovers, built to deliver dependable year-round performance and a comfortable ride at a value price. Backed by a 65,000-mile limited treadwear warranty on T and H speed-rated sizes (55,000 miles on V-rated sizes), it offers outstanding cost-per-mile value. As a Goodyear brand, the engineering and manufacturing behind Kelly come directly from one of the world's leading tire manufacturers.
The tire utilizes a symmetric all-season tread layout designed for versatile rotation and long wear. A solid center rib maintains continuous road contact for straight-line tracking stability, while reinforced outer shoulders improve cornering response under highway loads. To handle wet roads and light winter conditions, sweeping tread grooves rapidly evacuate standing water and slush from the contact patch, supported by biting tread block edges and siping that grip slippery surfaces. The compound is specifically tuned to lower rolling resistance for better fuel efficiency while dampening road harshness over rough pavement.
If you are cross-shopping value brands, the Kelly name is worth understanding. It is not an unknown import. Kelly has been an American tire brand since 1894 and has been part of Goodyear since 1935, meaning its manufacturing standards, quality control, and warranty backing operate under the exact same infrastructure.
Set expectations on two points. It is a comfort-focused touring tire, so it will feel softer than a dedicated performance tire when pushed hard in corners. Additionally, it is an all-season without 3PMSF certification, so while it handles cold pavement and light snow, it is not a substitute for a true winter tire on hard-packed ice.
To preserve the tread profile and reach the target warranty mileage, rotate every five to seven thousand miles and maintain proper inflation pressures.
