This listing is for new Otani KN1000 EV 215/55R17XL 98V BSW Tires. Manufacturer part number: S197V.
The Otani KN1000 EV is an all-season touring tire developed specifically for electric vehicles and modern passenger cars. Its low rolling resistance compound supports improved energy efficiency while maintaining stable handling and even wear. The optimized tread design reduces road noise and enhances wet traction, while reinforced construction helps manage the instant torque common in EVs. Designed for smooth, quiet performance, the KN1000 EV delivers reliable year-round drivability for daily commuting and highway travel.
About the Manufacturer:
Established in 1986 in Thailand, Otani Tire Co., Ltd. has developed into a global tire exporter operating across more than 100 nations. Specializing originally in heavy commercial and agricultural machinery tires, the brand utilizes high-volume production facilities to achieve significant operational efficiencies.
By controlling raw material sourcing and automating radial tire production, Otani keeps manufacturing overhead low while maintaining full compliance with U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) safety guidelines. This enables online value retailers like Giga-Tires to supply consumers and commercial fleets with durable, high-load tires at accessible, wallet-friendly price points.
Smart Value Perks:
- High Price-per-Mile Value: Commercial-grade rubber formulations extend tread life, stretching replacement intervals and lowering long-term maintenance costs.
- Heavy-Duty Load Protection: Strong radial construction resists impact damage and sidewall bulging when hauling heavy loads or towing equipment.
- Versatile Fleet & Daily Fitments: Broad sizing coverage spanning daily passenger cars, family crossovers, light trucks, and commercial utility vans.
