Rockfleet is a trademarked commercial replacement tire brand owned and distributed by AmCan Tire LLC, an international tire distribution company based in Houston, Texas (9654 Katy Freeway, Suite C#293, Houston, TX 77024). Developed to serve the North American commercial transport market, Rockfleet specializes in medium commercial truck and bus radial (TBR) tires compliant with Department of Transportation (DOT) safety regulations. Manufactured under ISO-certified quality management standards, the brand's product lineup—highlighted by models like the RA100, RA120, and RD320—covers steer, drive, trailer, and all-position commercial fitments. Built with high-tensile steel radial casings, heat-dissipating compounds, and stone-ejecting grooves, Rockfleet delivers load stability, even tread wear, and casing retreadability for commercial fleet operators.
The load index (LI) is a 2- or 3-digit number that correlates to the maximum amount of weight the tire can carry. For example, a tire with a load index of 87 indicates that the tire can carry a maximum load of 1,201 lbs. In this particularly example, 4 tires (each with a load index of 87) can carry a maximum of 4,804 lbs. Refer to your vehicle owner's manual for the recommended minimum load index.
