Maxxis Razr AT Product Description

This listing is for new Maxxis Razr AT 255/70R18XL 116T BSW Tires. Manufacturer part number: TP00405300.

The Maxxis Razr AT, officially designated as the AT-811, is an all-terrain tire for light trucks, SUVs, and crossovers that carries 3PMSF certification for severe snow service. Backed by a 60,000-mile limited treadwear warranty for P-metric sizes and 50,000 miles for LT fitments, it is built for drivers who want genuine deep-snow and off-road capability without stepping into mud-terrain noise and premature wear.

Off-road durability is anchored by Maxxis's dual-cord casing technology, which intertwined reinforcement fibers to dramatically increase sidewall strength against punctures and trail damage. On the shoulders, saw-edge blocks and bulky armor side-biter lugs provide biting edges that pull the vehicle through deep mud and rutted trails—especially when aired down. On pavement, an advanced compound formulated with chemical fillers resists tearing and chunking on gravel, while 3D tread blocks with bridge reinforcements interlock under braking to reduce pattern noise and prevent irregular wear.

Snow is where this tire has earned its standout reputation. The deep shoulder voids and dense siping allow it to pack and channel several inches of accumulation rather than skating across it, making it a favorite for drivers on winter mountain passes. Ice remains the physical limit, as it is for any all-terrain. If your winter commute involves packed black ice, a dedicated studded or studless winter tire will still stop shorter.

The practical advice matches any heavy-tread all-terrain: rotate every five thousand miles, maintain alignment, and run placard pressure rather than the sidewall maximum to preserve even wear and highway composure over its service life.

Best-suited for: Ford F-150, Chevrolet Silverado 1500, Toyota Tacoma, Toyota 4Runner, Jeep Wrangler, Ram 1500, GMC Sierra, Ford Bronco.
