Red Dirt Road (RDR) is an off-road specialty brand that designs, engineers, and distributes heavy-duty wheels and aggressive terrain tires tailored for the North American light truck and custom build market. Operating under Department of Transportation (DOT) compliance, Red Dirt Road focuses on oversized, high-load radial tires engineered to handle mud, rock, sand, and highway travel. Manufactured under international ISO-compliant quality standards, the brand’s tire catalog features multi-ply carcass construction, high load capacity ratings (Load Range E and F), and specialized off-road models like the RDR Dirt-Runner M/T. The manufacturer prioritizes puncture-resistant sidewall compounds, aggressive visual styling, and self-cleaning tread designs to serve pickup truck owners, Jeep enthusiasts, and off-road drivers.
The load index (LI) is a 2- or 3-digit number that correlates to the maximum amount of weight the tire can carry. For example, a tire with a load index of 87 indicates that the tire can carry a maximum load of 1,201 lbs. In this particularly example, 4 tires (each with a load index of 87) can carry a maximum of 4,804 lbs. Refer to your vehicle owner's manual for the recommended minimum load index.
