The Gripmax MaxGrip M/T is a mud-terrain light truck tire for lifted pickups and SUVs on large wheels, from 17-inch up to 26-inch. It is for trucks that see real mud, sand and rock. Gripmax Tires Inc. introduced the MaxGrip line in the US at the 2024 SEMA Show.
The tread uses large, edgy blocks with a high void ratio, so the blocks dig into loose ground instead of packing up. Zigzag grooves add biting edges on uneven surfaces. Deep, wide channels clear mud, sand and water. The carcass is reinforced to resist punctures, abrasion and cuts. Most sizes are load range F (12-ply rating), and the rest are load range E (10-ply rating). Speed ratings are Q (99 mph). For the best ride on a half-ton truck, set pressure from the load inflation table for your axle weight rather than the sidewall maximum.
Best-suited for: lifted Ford F-150, Chevrolet Silverado 1500, Ram 1500, Toyota Tundra, Ford F-250, Ram 2500, Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD.
