The Continental ProContact TX is an all-season touring tire developed largely to meet original equipment specifications, which means on a lot of vehicles it is the tire the manufacturer chose from the factory. It is built for sedans, coupes, and crossovers where ride quality, fuel efficiency, and quiet matter more than cornering limits.

Continental's EcoPlus technology works alongside a specialized silica-based, low-density compound to lower rolling resistance, which directly translates to better gas mileage or extended range on electric vehicles. Mechanically, a symmetric touring tread pattern ensures smooth road contact and even wear, while shoulder and block geometry maintain highway tracking stability. For maximum cabin quietness, select sizes feature Continental's ContiSilent® sound-absorption technology—an internal polyurethane foam layer that absorbs tire cavity resonance before it reaches the interior.
