The Nexen Winguard Ice SUV tire is a studless winter tire for SUVs and Crossovers that features a tread specifically designed for enhanced grip on black ice. It is an excellent snow and ice tire, but is particularly good on ice thanks to the high density of multi-sipes and innovative sawtooth tread block shape. The Nexen Winguard Ice SUV tire offers excellent handling on cold winter days when roads are dry because of a tread rubber that resists wear but stays pliable at lower temperatures. The large wide circumferential grooves enhance water drainage for less chance of hydro-planing on wet and slushy roads.

The Nexen Winguard Ice SUV tire has the mountain/snowflake symbol for severe snow service.
