The Bridgestone Alenza Prestige is a premium highway all-season tire for luxury SUVs, crossovers and light trucks on 16-inch to 22-inch wheels. It is for drivers who want a quiet, comfortable ride, strong wet braking and long tread life from one tire.

The construction is a two-ply polyester casing with twin steel belts. The polyester plies give a compliant ride, and the steel belts keep the tread flat for stable handling. Bridgestone's ENLITEN Technology package includes QuietTrack technology to reduce tread noise, and a wide center rib adds straight-line stability and steering response. The PeakLife Polymer compound is built for tread life. Low rolling resistance technology helps fuel economy and electric range. In Bridgestone's own testing, wet stopping distance improved 6% over its predecessor. That works out to eight feet shorter than the Alenza AS Ultra.

The UTQG treadwear grade is 700 on every size, near the top for any highway tire. That number backs up the warranty: 70,000 miles on most sizes and 60,000 on W-rated sizes. Most sizes are graded A for both traction and temperature. For buyers moving off a factory-fit performance tire, expect a softer, quieter ride.
