Kumho Crugen HP71 Product Description

This listing is for new . Manufacturer part number: 2344523.

The Kumho Crugen HP71 is a premium all-season touring tire for crossovers and SUVs, backed by a 65,000-mile limited treadwear warranty. It is engineered for drivers who want a quiet, luxurious ride and long tread life without paying top-tier brand pricing.

Kumho engineered this tire around a high-strength carcass structure capable of handling the heavy curb weight and high torque output of modern SUVs, crossovers, and electric vehicles. The tread utilizes a solid continuous center rib for straight-line stability, paired with variable pitch tread sequence and micro-grooves to minimize road noise. For specialized EV fitments, select sizes incorporate Kumho's K-Silent Technology—an internal sound-absorbing foam layer that directly dampens tire cavity noise. Mechanically, wide circumferential grooves and full-depth interlocking sipes clear water to deliver wet braking performance that consistently punching above its price class.

It is worth being clear about application: this is a highway touring tire optimized for daily commuting, long trip miles, and suburban weather. It is not an all-terrain tire and is not built for unpaved trails or mud.

As an all-season tire without 3PMSF certification, it handles cold wet roads and light snow, but is not a substitute for a dedicated winter tire on packed snow or ice. To achieve the 65,000-mile warranty target, rotate every five to seven thousand miles, hold inflation pressures at the vehicle door placard, and verify wheel alignment upon installation.

Best-suited for: Honda CR-V, Toyota RAV4, Nissan Rogue, Toyota Highlander, Ford Explorer, Mazda CX-5, Honda Pilot, Chevrolet Equinox.
