Nitto Terra Grappler G3 35X12.50R17 F/12PLY

Nitto Terra Grappler G3 Product Description

This listing is for new . Manufacturer part number: 224660.

The Nitto Terra Grappler G3 currently carries the longest treadwear warranty in the all-terrain category: 70,000 miles on hard metric sizes and 55,000 miles on LT and flotation sizes. It is 3PMSF rated for severe snow service, a major functional upgrade over the previous generation.

That headline warranty is backed by real engineering. A redesigned five-block tread pattern maximizes biting edges for snow, while zigzag siping and full-depth multi-wave sipes keep wet and winter traction active deep into the tire's service life. Off the pavement, concave, staggered shoulder blocks provide side-bite in ruts and loose ground, while integrated stone ejectors between the main lugs prevent debris retention and shield the casing from stone drilling. A reinforced sidewall construction delivers added durability and stability under heavy towing loads, complemented by Nitto's signature dual sidewall lug patterns so you can choose the exact look for your build.

Owner feedback on noise splits, and it is worth being straight about why. Most owners report it is noticeably quieter than the all-terrain it replaced, while some report the opposite. The pattern behind that split is almost always rotation interval, inflation pressure, and alignment. An all-terrain with this much tread depth will develop a hum once the shoulders start to cup, and cupping comes from skipped rotations and out-of-spec alignment. Rotate every five thousand miles and the G3 stays civil for its full life.

If you are cross-shopping the G3 against a premium all-terrain, the honest framing is this: the G3 gives you the longest coverage in the class and full severe snow certification, paired with outstanding highway manners. Dedicated off-road builds that spend real time crawling rocks may still prefer a heavier three-ply sidewall from a more extreme off-road line.

Best-suited for: Ford F-150, Chevrolet Silverado 1500, Ram 1500, Toyota Tacoma, Toyota 4Runner, Toyota Tundra, Jeep Wrangler, GMC Sierra, Ford Bronco.
